Lucid Research Limited was incorporated in 1995, specialising in the creation of innovative software for assessment and training that is backed up by scientific research. Lucid’s development team work very closely with psychologists at the University of Hull, UK, as well as with educational consultants, to ensure that its assessment systems conform to the highest psychometric and educational standards.
Lucid has been the market leader for 15 years and pioneered the development of easy to use computerised tools for teachers in the early identification of dyslexia (from 4 years old) and the profiling of cognitive skills in young children.
Situation
The company is based near the centre of Beverley, a delightful old market town nestling on the edge of The Yorkshire Wolds. The town is most famous for its Minster (cathedral) and racecourse.
